Accounting Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This role will involve leading a diverse range of client engagements and working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conducting compilations and reviews in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
  • Designing and executing analytical procedures to assess financial data and performance metrics.
  • Reviewing and analyzing lease agreements to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Overseeing the preparation of detailed supporting schedules for financial statement analysis and review.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Professional certification as a Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant.
  • At least 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on corporate tax returns, compilations, and reviews.
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring junior staff members.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including review and compilation standards.
  • A proven track record of building strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing review and compilation engagements, including taxation.
  • Ability to direct and deploy staff and senior associates on multiple, simultaneous engagements.
