Job Title:

Financial Services Taxation Leader

A Financial Services Taxation Leader will be responsible for the detailed review of complex client returns, majorly on Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Fund of Funds, blocker corporation returns and S-Corporation returns prepared by staff/senior/Supervisor.

  • Detailed review of State returns for financial services clients.
  • Identifying international filing requirements by studying organization charts and reviewing international tax returns.
  • Training existing/new joiners on concepts, technology, and providing timely feedback for each project reviewed.
  • Supervising kick-off calls to understand the client, regular connects with counterparts by teams, and intervening in conflicts.
  • Guiding staff/seniors on potential tax adjustments due to tax law changes and e-filing validations.
  • Ongoing responsibilities include recruitment, training, performance evaluation, mentoring team members.
  • Maintaining constant connections with counterparts to ensure adherence to timelines and high-quality work through consistent learning.
  • Enabling the team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Facilitating trainings and helping in developing training materials for technical topics.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (US), IRS Enrolled Agent.
  • Experience in detail review of tax returns.
  • Knowledge of Axcess Tax, Gofile room, Case ware.
  • Relevant experience more than 8+ years with major experience into Financial Services Returns.
