As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to drive business decisions through data-driven insights.

Data Analysis & Business Strategy

  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to optimize business outcomes.
  • Analyze large datasets from company databases to inform business strategies and support optimization initiatives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of data sources and collection methods.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to provide actionable insights.
  • Use predictive modeling to influence key business outcomes.

Model Development & Implementation

  • Design, deploy, and track structured programs or operational processes based on developed models/algorithms.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement models and monitor performance outcomes.
  • Develop tools and processes to ensure ongoing data accuracy and model performance.

Business Impact

  • Provide recommendations to business stakeholders based on model outputs.
  • Drive implementation of recommendations through process changes, technology enhancements, or data management practices.
  • Focus areas: Primary – PSCM/VMI business; Secondary – ICS KPIs.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in time or cost efficiencies post-implementation.
  • Track and report user satisfaction scores for delivered models and tools.

Quality, Safety, and Continuous Improvement

  • Demonstrate commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards.
  • Apply safety and quality management systems.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, setting an example in achieving and exceeding goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences with coursework in statistics (minimum 2 years).
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Relevant internship or certifications in data science/machine learning preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a business mindset.
  • Proficient in R or Python for data analysis and modeling.
  • SQL, VBA, and DAX (Power BI) for querying and data manipulation.
  • Understanding of data architecture principles.
  • Practical knowledge of machine learning techniques.
  • Advanced understanding of statistical methods.
  • Excellent communication skills for working across teams.
