Job Title

Senior Piping Stress Engineer is responsible for performing high-level stress analysis on piping systems. The role involves analyzing and resolving complex piping issues to ensure the integrity of the system.

\Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review project design basis for stress analysis, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Conduct stress critical line list reviews and prepare piping load summaries as input for civil/structural design.
  • Execute stress analysis using software Caesar-II / ROHR2, leveraging expertise in piping stress analysis to provide accurate results.
  • Independently perform stress analysis tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Mark-up stress-related data on isometrics for updating in 3D models, ensuring seamless integration with civil/structural designs.
\Requirements
  • Expertise in ASME B31.3 code requirements related to safety in stress analysis, flange leakage calculations, nozzle displacements, and spring selection criteria.
  • Strong understanding of WRC calculations, nozzle stiffness calculation using NozzlePro software, and 3D model navigation in Navisworks.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Paint, with good English communication skills written and oral.
\Preferred Qualifications
  • 5-15 years of experience in piping stress analysis, with a strong background in stress analysis software (Caesar-II / ROHR2).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
