Job Summary:

As a senior piping stress engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity of our systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Design Basis Review

Review and prepare project design basis for stress analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

2. Stress Critical Line List Preparation

Prepare a comprehensive list of stress-critical lines to inform stress analysis.

3. Expertise in Piping Stress Analysis

Utilize expertise in piping stress analysis to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.

4. Stress Analysis Execution

Execute stress analysis using software Caesar-II / ROHR2 to ensure accurate results.

5. Independent Task Performance

Independently perform stress analysis tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

6. Data Mark-up and 3D Model Update

Mark-up stress-related data on isometrics for updating in 3D models to ensure seamless integration.

7. Piping Load Summary Preparation

Prepare a comprehensive piping load summary as input for civil/structural design.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Good Understanding and Awareness of:

ASME B31.3 code requirements related to safety in stress, flange leakage calculations, nozzle displacements calculation, spring selection criteria, 3D model navigation in Navisworks, and WRC calculations.

Additional Advantages:

Knowledge of nozzle stiffness calculation using NozzlePro software and good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Paint.
