Piping Stress Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Piping Stress Analysis Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in piping stress analysis, including the preparation and review of project design basis, critical line lists, and stress analysis using software like Caesar-II and ROHR2.

The selected candidate will perform independent stress analysis tasks, mark-up stress-related data on isometrics for updating in 3D models, and prepare piping load summaries as input for civil/structural design. A good understanding of ASME B31.3 code requirements related to safety in stress, flange leakage calculations, nozzle displacements, spring selection criteria, and 3D model navigation in Navisworks is essential.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience with WRC calculations, nozzle stiffness calculation using NozzlePro software, and good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Paint. Strong English communication skills, both written and oral, are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review project design basis for stress analysis.
  • Perform stress analysis using Caesar-II and ROHR2 software.
  • Mark-up stress-related data on isometrics for 3D model updates.
  • Prepare piping load summaries for civil/structural design.
  • Ensure compliance with ASME B31.3 code requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in piping stress analysis.
  • Expertise in Caesar-II and ROHR2 software.
  • Good understanding of ASME B31.3 code requirements.
  • Strong English communication skills.
