About this role

We're seeking a seasoned finance professional with expertise in the UK asset finance market, specifically across leasing (operational and finance), hire purchase, and stage payment loans.

This is an opportunity for experienced professionals who have worked extensively with vehicle and equipment financing and possess a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes in the asset finance lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domain SME: Support consulting engagements across originations, billing, collections, and settlements.
  • Business Process Assurance: Collaborate with testing teams to translate functional requirements into IT test scenarios.
  • UAT/SIT Lead: Ensure alignment with business expectations and terminology.
  • Test Scenario Review: Validate test scenarios in collaboration with business SMEs.
  • Data Migration: Support data migration, documentation workstreams, and reporting activities including GL concepts.
  • Business-Technology Liaison: Serve as a conduit between business and technology teams, ensuring seamless communication and delivery.
  • Process Insights: Provide insights into Asset Finance workflows, including POS, rescheduling, novation, asset handling, stock audits, inspections, and recoveries.
  • Asset Finance Expertise: Leverage tools such as Jira, Zephyr, and other requirements/test management platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience: 4 –14+ years of experience in Asset Finance, preferably in the UK market.
  • Vehicle Financing: Strong understanding of vehicle and equipment financing (excluding capital assets like equity).
  • End-to-End Processes: Hands-on experience with end-to-end Asset Finance processes.
  • Industry Terminology: Familiarity with industry-standard terminologies and business workflows.
  • Testing Methodologies: Exposure to testing methodologies, tools, and business-IT collaboration.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
