Job Title: IT Asset Management Specialist

We seek an experienced IT Asset Management professional to oversee the lifecycle of hardware and software assets. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing ITAM processes for optimal efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain end-to-end IT asset management processes.
  • Lead the Software Asset Management lifecycle, including license management, compliance audits, procurement, renewals, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure cost optimization and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Perform software discovery, reconciliation, and compliance checks across multiple publishers.
  • Provide strategic inputs for vendor negotiations, true-up, and contract renewals.
  • Drive process improvements and automation within ITAM/SAM practice.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor ITAM/SAM performance and governance.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong experience in ITAM and SAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, Snow, Ivanti).
  • Solid understanding of license models (perpetual, subscription, cloud/SaaS, BYOL, enterprise agreements).
  • Hands-on experience in software license optimization, audits, and compliance management.
  • Ability to manage hardware asset lifecycle (procurement, inventory, disposal, refresh).
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (especially ITAM/SAM, CMDB, Incident, Change, and Procurement).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience in Excel, Power BI, or ServiceNow reports.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
