  • Manage day-to-day activities in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Maintain, monitor and analyze statutory and regulatory compliance levels across all hospitals.
  • Develop, update and communicate compliance policies and procedures to employees and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular internal audits at hospital locations to assess compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Track and analyze compliance metrics, generating reports for management on compliance status and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of compliance activities, findings and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with legal and regulatory experts to ensure accurate and comprehensive reporting.
  • Analyze compliance risks and potential areas of vulnerability, developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Advise operations teams on compliance-related risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Draft and vet notices, pleadings and submissions for medico-legal and commercial litigation, maintaining a tracker of all litigations and analyzing trends for litigation prevention.
  • Manage medico-legal cases by coordinating with medical teams and advocates.
  • Build relationships with advocates, develop a network of advocates throughout India and assist them in cases.
  • Draft notices, vet notices, respond to statutory notices, regulatory notices and complaints from patrons.
  • Manage the litigation tool, coordinate with different teams to enhance its features and manage notices through it.
  • Monitor cases by coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Draft recovery notices and participate in recovering dues.
  • Advise medical teams on medico-legal issues.
  • Analyze legal risk and cost to the company, advising management and implementing strategies to mitigate risk.
  • Conduct medico-legal seminars to educate internal stakeholders on current laws.
  • Draft, vet and negotiate commercial agreements, Master Services Agreements, Service Agreement, Statement of Work, Change Requests, NDA and other documents.
  • Maintain, file, track and manage contract lifecycle, preparing guidelines, SOPs, dashboards, reports, workflows and strategic complex transactions.
  • Provide advice to internal stakeholders on contractual positions and corporate policies.
  • Assist in real estate profile maintenance, conduct title due diligence on proposed acquisitions and maintain trackers for timely lease renewals.
  • Collaborate with Lessors, drafting LOIs, Leases, Sale documents and processing registration.
  • Manage IPR portfolio of Group Companies, monitor violations, apply for new Trademarks and Patents, respond to regulatory notices and communications regarding IP.
