Job Overview:

The Production Manager role is a high-level position that oversees daily chemical production operations.

This includes implementing and monitoring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process controls, and productivity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with experience in chemical manufacturing and a background in Chemical Engineering or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily chemical production operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement SOPs, process controls, and productivity KPIs.
  • Optimize raw material usage and minimize process waste.
  • Analyze root causes of production issues and develop corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain teams for seamless operations.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA, pollution control).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of batch/continuous processes, DCS/SCADA systems, and compliance frameworks.
