Overview:
The role of a Growth Analyst involves leveraging data analytics to drive business growth and inform strategic decisions. This position requires a strong understanding of data science principles, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth cohort analysis to track user acquisition, retention, and revenue performance across different user segments and acquisition channels.
- Calculate and monitor key growth metrics including customer lifetime value (LTV), return on investment (ROI), revenue attribution models, payback periods, and customer acquisition costs (CAC).
- Develop advanced attribution models to measure marketing campaign effectiveness and optimize budget allocation across channels.
- Collaborate with data engineers to design, optimize, and maintain data pipelines that process raw data for analytical purposes.
- Develop complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets for growth insights.
- Design and execute A/B testing frameworks to evaluate the impact of product changes and marketing campaigns on growth metrics.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, finance) to optimize campaigns, identify growth features, and align analytics with business planning.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and benchmark performance.
- Develop predictive models to forecast user behavior, revenue projections, and campaign performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications">
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Growth Analyst, Marketing Analyst, or similar analytical role, preferably in mobile app or SaaS environments.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation and analysis.
- Advanced experience with Metabase for creating interactive dashboards and self-service analytics solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with mobile attribution platforms, specifically AppsFlyer data analysis and reporting.
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, cohort analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.
- Deep understanding of mobile app growth metrics including LTV, CAC, ROI, retention rates, and revenue attribution models.
- Proficiency in Python or R for advanced analytics and statistical modeling.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies, experimental design, and statistical significance testing.
