Financial Business Partner

  About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Business Partner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving business performance and creating opportunities for growth.

As a Financial Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and insights to drive business decisions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize business performance.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Responsibility Areas:

A. Performance Delivery:

1. Support the delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to volume, net sales value (NSV), operating profit (OP), and cash flow.

2. Strengthen the finance operational and reporting (O&R) process.

B. Productivity:

1. Improve the collection process for past c-forms, reducing timelines and increasing efficiency.

2. Unlock savings by dialing up distributor return on investment (ROI).

3. Reduce working capital / provisions unlock (overall norms lower in value than last three years average aged inventory).

C. Net Revenue Management:

1. Manage trade spend effectively.

2. Drive the BTL claim process for the cluster and adopt new BTL processes.

3. Develop pre- and post-measurement culture on BTL and total trade spend (TTL).

4. Engage with the headquarters commercial team and cross-functional teams.

5. Optimize pricing - volume/value/margin market share pool/benchmark against industry players.

D. Business Partnering:

1. Develop financial analysis to drive business insights.

2. Partner with commercial heads and senior stakeholders to drive business performance.

3. Bring strong commercial insight and judgment to decision-making.

4. Invest in optimization, including advertising and promotion measurement and evaluation.

5. Support cluster/region business planning meetings with market financials.

6. Participate in pricing discussions and provide quality inputs.

E. BAU Operations:

1. Manage credit and collection effectively.

2. Drive collection and reduce overdues.

3. Review debtor estimates/forecast based on actual debtor reports.

4. Support real-time monitoring (RTM) changes and annual policy changes.

5. Ensure timely month-end closing and sharing required management information systems (MIS).

F. Compliance and Governance:

1. Ensure compliance with credit policies, BTL policy, TTL policy, statement of accounts (SOA), and all commercial central audit review management (CARM) controls.

2. Track risks identified through tuberculosis reviews.

3. Highlight any anti-money laundering (AML) or legacy issues with the legal consultant.
