This role involves overseeing the technical delivery and project coordination for a team working on complex water and wastewater treatment projects across multiple disciplines.
You will be responsible for producing and reviewing technical deliverables, including engineering calculations and drawings. It is essential to have a good understanding of various process units in water and wastewater treatment plants, as well as knowledge of treatment plants, pumping stations, hydraulics for treatment plants, gravity mains, and structural design.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce high-quality technical deliverables, including engineering calculations and drawings.
- Have a thorough understanding of various process units in water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Work knowledge on treatment plants, pumping stations, hydraulics for treatment plants, gravity mains, and basic knowledge of structural design.
- Generate site-wide layouts, roads, and access, as well as general arrangement drawings for each process unit.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum 12 years' experience in engineering design, with roles of increasing responsibility and project complexity.
- Chartered engineer (ICE/CIWEM) or working towards achieving professional qualifications is preferred.
- Familiarity with British, Euro, and other international standards and practices is required.
