Senior Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and analyzing hydraulic systems, as well as experience in project management and team leadership.

This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for leading and supervising design teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage design teams to deliver high-quality projects
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
  • Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure timely delivery
  • Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure integrated and cohesive designs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering from a recognized university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing hydraulic systems and project management
  • Strong technical knowledge of AutoCAD MEP, Revit, and Navisworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills:

  • M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering
  • Experience in site supervision, construction support, and commissioning activities
  • Knowledge of international codes, standards, and practices related to the water industry
  • Understanding of health and safety standards and environmental regulations
