Senior Water Treatment Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Water Treatment Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing water treatment systems for industrial applications.

  • Responsibilities:
  • • Design and develop efficient water treatment systems for various industries
  • • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • • Conduct site visits and perform field work as needed
  • • Develop and implement sustainable design practices that meet industry standards
  • • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
  • • Present complex technical information to diverse audiences
  • • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in water treatment
  1. Requirements:
  2. • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university
  3. • 5-10 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry
  4. • Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  5. • Proven expertise in using Revit, Plant 3D, and AutoCAD for water market-related designs
  6. • Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as WaterGEMS or InfoWater
  7. • Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
  8. • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  9. • In-depth knowledge of AWWA, ANSI, ASME, and other relevant industry standards and regulations
  10. • Experience with LEED certification processes and sustainable design practices
  11. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  12. • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for project site visits and client meetings
