Job Title: Culinary Operations Specialist

Key Job Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day activities of a workstation, ensuring that all duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with corporate policies and procedures. Supervise assigned team members, assigning tasks and monitoring work schedules to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure all food products are prepared according to corporate recipe standards, adhering to quality control guidelines and public health regulations.
  2. Supervise workstation functions, assigning duties and responsibilities to employees, organizing work schedules and controlling overtime.
  3. Prepare and present food items according to corporate standards, training and monitoring entry-level cooks and chefs for proper service.
  4. Conduct daily inventory of workstation storage, determine day's food requirements and prepare daily requisitions for approval by senior staff.
  5. Apply at all times HACCP and onboard sanitation, hygiene standards, complying with international regulations.
Additional Key Responsibilities:
  1. Train and monitor entry-level cooks and chefs, providing on-the-job training to strengthen their performance and prepare them for advancement to promotional positions.
  2. Report to workstation assignment on time, properly groomed and dressed according to company policies.
  3. Meet with senior staff daily to review meal requirements and time frames for restaurant service.
Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a culinary school degree, strong management skills in a multicultural environment, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, superior customer service and conflict resolution skills, and intermediate computer software skills.
