Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced database administrator to join our organization, responsible for designing and implementing databases using SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.

  • Database Design and Implementation:
    • Create efficient database structures using SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
    • Ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Database Maintenance:
    • Maintain databases with regular backups and restores.
    • Perform routine database checks and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Work closely with IT team members, including developers, to ensure system availability and performance.
    • Support reporting team members with database queries and data requirements.
    • Provide Power BI support.
  • Documentation and Communication:
    • Develop and maintain documentation related to databases.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Manage deployments and ensure best practices are followed.
    • Work with vendor support on any issues that require their assistance.
    • Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
    • Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI using Power Query and DAX.
    • Implement row-level security and manage access permissions in Power BI.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a DBA, with a focus on SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Excellent knowledge of database administration, design, and maintenance for SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Change Management processes and AI integrations.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Experience in creating interactive dashboards and visualizations.
