Design Structural Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Building Design Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing structural analysis and design for commercial buildings, leading seismic design of new and existing structures, and coordinating with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical services to resolve interfaces.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for commercial buildings.
- Lead and document seismic design of new and existing structures.
- Develop and review 2D/3D models and drawings in Revit and CAD.
- Utilize modular framing systems for secondary structures.
- Conduct value engineering on existing and proposed designs.
- Prepare design reports and specifications.
- Participate in internal design reviews and quality assurance processes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- 5+ years' structural engineering experience in the Australian commercial sector preferred.
- Demonstrated seismic analysis and design expertise.
- Proven experience integrating structural designs with other services.
- Hands-on use of Revit and BIM systems.
Technical Competencies include structural design, seismic design, BIM coordination, detailing of welded sections, and interface management.
