Job Title: Lead - MIS, Land Acquisition

Job Summary:

This is a key leadership role that oversees the centralized Management Information System (MIS) function for the land acquisition team. The successful candidate will ensure timely, accurate, and actionable reporting to support decision-making, performance tracking, and regulatory compliance in ongoing/planned renewable energy projects across India.

  • MIS Management & Reporting:
    • The MIS Manager will develop and maintain a comprehensive MIS framework covering all land acquisition activities across projects and states.
    • They will collate data from ground teams and project sites into centralized dashboards.
    • The MIS Manager will generate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for senior management, highlighting progress, delays, risks, and opportunities.
    • Reports will be automated and data flows streamlined using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint or advanced versions.
  • Data Integrity & Governance:
    • The MIS Manager will ensure high accuracy, completeness, and consistency of land-related data.
    • They will maintain historical records of land deals, ownership documentation, clearances, and legal status.
    • Protocols will be enforced for data entry and quality checks across regional teams.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • The MIS Manager will track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as land parcels acquired, legal clearances obtained, lead time, and state-wise progress.
    • They will identify bottlenecks in the acquisition process and escalate them for corrective action.
    • The MIS Manager will support target-setting and benchmarking for zonal land acquisition teams.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
    • The MIS Manager will coordinate with regional land teams, legal, finance, and project execution teams for data updates.
    • They will support internal and external audits with timely data access and reporting.
    • Collaboration will occur with IT teams for system enhancements and integration.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • The MIS Manager will ensure timely submission of reports to internal audit, statutory, and regulatory bodies.
    • Documentation trails will be maintained for internal governance and due diligence.
