Procurement Management Role Overview

The Procurement Manager will lead the planning and delivery of school essentials, directing the activities of subordinate schools staff in the coordination and management of various purchase activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations governing administrative and departmental programs.
  • Supervise vendor development across multiple locations to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement solutions.
  • Monitor budgets with actual expenses to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors to secure best value for the company.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing movements to inform procurement decisions.
  • Prepare and present reports on departmental performance, including cost savings, vendor performance, and key metrics.
  • Draft and manage contracts with vendors to ensure clear terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate supply planning and inventory management to maintain optimal fill rates and minimize wastage.
  • Develop strategies to reduce costs and improve margins through efficient sourcing and supply chain optimization.
  • Manage vendor relationships, track vendor scores, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements
