Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a vital role in managing the company's accounts receivable function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances and maintaining accurate records of all A/R transactions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, including the ability to gather and organize information, as well as strong organizational and time management skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Generate and send invoices to customers in accordance with U.S. GAAP standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances, making timely payments to avoid penalties.
  • Reconcile discrepancies, resolve billing issues, communicate effectively with customers regarding payments, providing clear and concise explanations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all A/R transactions, utilizing data analysis software to track trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to gather and organize information, financial reporting, invoicing and accounting software proficiency.
  • Proficient in using relevant technology tools, such as spreadsheets and databases.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Review and verify invoices and expense reports for accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring adherence to payment terms and schedules.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor relationships, fostering strong business partnerships.
  • Attention to detail, multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities, providing support during peak periods.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist in financial analysis as required, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and efficiency, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing process improvements.
  • Stay updated on U.S. GAAP regulations and ensure compliance in all accounting activities, staying ahead of industry changes.

  • Strong active listening and verbal communication skills in English are essential for effective collaboration.
  • Comfortable working in US night shift, adapting to changing schedules as needed.
  • Candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
