Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the growth of our business in North and South Zones. As a Strategic Account Growth Manager, you will be responsible for managing regional chains and key modern trade accounts, driving revenue targets, improving in-store execution, and building strong customer relationships across respective geographies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Owns the profit and loss statement for modern trade accounts in the region.
  • Develops and executes joint business plans with key regional modern trade partners.
  • Ensures SKU listings, visibility, and promotional execution across accounts.
  • Drives secondary sales through merchandising, activations, and trade marketing initiatives.
  • Manages Trade Outlets and Trade Promotions renewals, promotions, pricing, and ROI of trade spends at the regional level.
  • Collaborates with supply chain and operations to ensure timely order fulfillment and stock availability.
  • Leads a team of Area Sales Executives/Account Sales Managers and modern trade merchandisers in the region.
  • Monitors competitor activity and provides actionable insights for market share growth.
  • Coordinates with central marketing and category teams for channel-specific plans.
  • Regularly reviews performance with retailers and internal stakeholders and presents actionable growth plans.

Requirements:

  • A minimum 4-8 years experience in FMCG Modern Trade / KEY ACCOUNT sales (Must).
  • A strong understanding of respective Zone market dynamics and key regional retail chains.
  • Experience in managing Trade Outlets, joint business plans, and in-store execution.
  • People management experience in leading Area Sales Executives, merchandizers, and promoters.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage operational execution in a fast-paced environment.
