The role of Senior Business Development Manager involves driving business growth from green field projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients. The key focus is on Premium Commercial prospects that complement our technology and the clients daily operations.

Key Accountabilities / Deliverables

  • Develop effective growth strategies for assigned territories and portfolios.
  • Build and sustain long term customer relationships, engaging customers at all levels including senior facilities managers and C-level executives.
  • Champion customer needs and requirements within our organization, ensuring 100 percent customer satisfaction.

Sales Excellence:

  • Achieve sales targets while following established pricing policies.
  • Manage a balanced approach to superior customer service and strategic account planning.
  • Identify install opportunities and provide consultative support by building value propositions for customers.

Effective Team Member:

  • Collaborate with peers to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Leverage resources to address customer drivers and initiatives.
  • Maintain awareness of customer next best alternatives and communicate competitive challenges.

Financials:

  • Responsible for achieving margin, orders, and plans for assigned portfolios.
  • Deliver year on year growth in margin and orders to meet annual and long term expectations.

Key Success Factors (Key Metrics / KPIs)

  • Orders and margin above set quota in support of Annual Operating Plan.
  • Accurate forecasting of orders and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction in line with Net Production Scores.
  • Increase in sales through adjacent offerings.
  • Actively builds customer relationships and positions oneself as trusted advisor.

Education / Qualifications

  • Trade or degree qualified in a business or engineering related discipline.
  • Professional Skills / Knowledge
  • Proven experience in selling to senior customer stakeholders.
  • Track record for establishing credibility within relevant industry and technical environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to orchestrate and manage install base growth.
