Workday HCM Payroll Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Workday HCM Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role will involve providing expert-level support for payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of payroll management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configuring and maintaining Workday HCM payroll settings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Processing payroll transactions, including managing payroll cycles, handling exceptions, and resolving issues in a timely manner.

  • Providing technical assistance to users on payroll-related inquiries, troubleshooting problems, and offering training and guidance as needed.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and dashboards to support payroll operations and analytics.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and data exchange.

  • Staying current with regulatory changes, industry best practices, and technological advancements to continually improve payroll processes and services.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a Workday HCM environment.

  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, laws, and guidelines, particularly in the areas of tax compliance, benefits administration, and labor laws.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and procedures.
