Job Title: Technical Architect

  • Synthesize strategic plans by collaborating with product management initiatives, working closely with leadership and the product team to align technical roadmap.
  • Develop in-depth analysis and design for software products to meet market/customer/internal product team specifications.
  • Collaborate with the pre-sales team to create architecture details based on customer requirements/needs.
  • Work with the team to review and improve code performance.
  • Owning technical designs for products and projects, applying knowledge of common architecture frameworks.
  • Performing code reviews, providing critical suggestions for fixes and improvements.
  • Developing broad technology skills in Java technologies, microservice design patterns, Open Source libraries and frameworks, and technology architecture concepts.
  • Collaborating within a project team with diverse and complementary skills.

Required Skills

Candidate Profile and Skills Required

  • 10+ years of IT industry experience in enterprise software development.
  • Expertise in Web technologies.
  • Familiarity with NodeJS, ReactJS/AngularJS technology stacks.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and apply them in R&D projects.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience in the Retail/e-Commerce industry and product engineering background is an advantage.
  • A good understanding of Agile development practices is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in one or more backend languages.
  • Proficiency in one or more frontend frameworks (HTML5 / Angular / React).
  • Experience developing on both mobile and web platforms.
  • Hands-on Test Driven Development experience and ability to author Unit, Integration, and Functional Tests.
  • Strong Object-Oriented skills and familiarity with design patterns.
  • Good communication and client-facing skills.
