Assembly Line Operator

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Assembly Line Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for operating manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products, ensuring they meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately
  • Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard
  • Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Promote interdependence by looking out for one another
  • Correct hazards within your control and capabilities
  • Recognize how your work may impact the environment and work to minimize the negative impact
  • Engage in HSE Training

Quality Focus:

  • Follow all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures
  • Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures
  • Perform quality inspections
  • Identify and control non-conforming material

Delivery Excellence:

  • Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product
  • Demonstrate a high level of competency in core work skills
  • Achieve production goals
  • Work at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard
  • Maintain clean and orderly work area

Teamwork and Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams
  • Complete training and personal development in line with business requirements
  • Participate actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development

External Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Competencies: Communicates effectively, Courage, Drives results, Ensures accountability, Health and Safety Fundamentals, Manufacturing Knowledge, Values differences
  • Education, Licenses, Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations
  • Experience: Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience

Skills Required:

  • Assembly of Engine/ Genset as per plan
  • Active participation in TBWS
  • Hardworking and Team player
  • Knowledge of Diesel engine fundamentals
  • Ready to work in shifts
  • Adherence to all safety PPEs and norms as per requirement
