Accreditation Officer/Lead

The Accreditation Officer/Lead plays a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives for accreditation and quality assurance. This esteemed professional formulates plans, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and fosters collaboration among faculty, staff, and accrediting agencies.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about higher education administration and quality assurance to make a lasting impact. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in higher education administration, quality assurance, or accreditation roles and be familiar with the standards and requirements of major accrediting bodies.

The successful incumbent will provide leadership in developing and implementing accreditation strategies, ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. They will also be responsible for compiling self-assessment reports, providing training on accreditation best practices, and contributing to the growth and development of the organization.

To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. Prior experience in project management and organizational skills is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate accreditation strategies and plans
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and requirements
  • Coordinate with faculty, staff, and accrediting agencies
  • Compile and write self-assessment reports and other documentation
  • Provide training on accreditation requirements and best practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in higher education administration, quality assurance, or accreditation roles
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards and requirements of major accrediting bodies
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
  • Prior experience in project management and organizational skills
