Sales and Business Development Role

As a Sales Head for the Handset and Telecom sector at Poojara Telecom Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for driving business growth and managing sales operations in the Rest of Maharashtra region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the telecom industry and a strong understanding of retail dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and market expansion in Rajasthan and ROM.
• Align regional sales strategies with the overall business objectives.
• Lead the team in exploring new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.

Team Leadership and Management

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of regional sales managers, ensuring high performance and motivation.
• Set clear performance expectations and KPIs, ensuring consistent team success.
• Conduct regular training and development sessions to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.

Market Expansion and Customer Acquisition

• Identify new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities to drive growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, channel partners, and retail partners.
• Implement customer acquisition and retention strategies to increase market share.

Sales Operations and Reporting

• Oversee sales operations including forecasting, budgeting, and inventory management.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing timely reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, finance, and product to streamline operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• MBA from a recognized institution or relevant experience with a Bachelor degree.
• 10+ years of experience in the handset and telecom industry, with a focus on sales and retail.
• Strong understanding of the telecom and handset market in Rajasthan and ROM.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving market growth.
