Job Title:

A Memory Design Engineer is required to work on full custom memory design and architectures.

To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of different types of memory architecture and expertise in working on SRAM leafcell GDS from scratch till top-level integration.

Key skills required include good knowledge of memory layout design for advanced nodes (TSMC: 7nm/5nm/3nm), proficiency in physical verification flow debug tools such as DRC, LVS, DFM, PERC, ERC, EM, IR, and expertise in Cadence Virtuoso layout editor and Caliber physical verification flow.

Synopsys Custom Compiler experience is highly desirable, and understanding and working knowledge of good layout practices in lower process nodes like 7nm and 5nm are necessary.

The ideal candidate should also have experience working on FinFET architecture and challenges such as variability and manufacturability, as well as expertise in working on address process-dependent effects like electro-migration (EM), IR drop, and optimizing layouts for yield enhancement and manufacturing robustness.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop full custom memory designs
  • Work on SRAM leafcell GDS from scratch till top-level integration
  • Ensure that memory layout designs meet the requirements of advanced nodes (TSMC: 7nm/5nm/3nm)
  • Use physical verification flow debug tools to identify and fix errors
  • Work with Cadence Virtuoso layout editor and Caliber physical verification flow
Requirements:
