Procurement Leader

Job Description:

As a key member of our procurement team, you will lead end-to-end sourcing projects with a focus on value, speed, compliance, and risk management. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, develop RFPs/RFXs, and negotiate with suppliers. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with controls, audits, and regulatory obligations across sourcing cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and buying channel optimization.
  • Negotiate and oversee third-party supplier control obligations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in sourcing/procurement, preferably in technology procurement within financial services.
  • Strong expertise in RFPs, contract negotiations, vendor management, and compliance.
  • Proven experience in contractual review and redlining.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across divisions.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Leadership qualities to set objectives, coach teams, and drive operational effectiveness.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in operational/core sourcing teams in technology.
  • Regulatory remediation experience (Data Privacy, OCIR, etc.).
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and governance practices.
