This role involves overseeing the entire import process, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to regulations. Key responsibilities include documentation preparation, insurance certificate generation, and communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare export invoices, packing lists, and other relevant documents.
  • Generate insurance certificates and ensure sufficient insured amount balance.
  • Handle hazardous cargo, including understanding of Haz Classes, Packing Groups, and preparing Dangerous Goods Declarations.
  • Coordinate with factory, CHA, forwarders, shipping lines, and customers.
  • Negotiate air or sea freight with forwarders and shipping lines.
  • Approve SB checklists, BOE checklists, AWB drafts, and BL drafts.
  • Coordinate flight and vessel bookings.
  • Arrange courier shipments via DHL or FedEx.
  • Understand requirements of SCOMET and Narcotics for every shipment.
  • Resolve queries from export customers efficiently.
  • Arrange transport for FCL shipments and factory stuffing.
  • Apply for preferential and non-preferential COOs online.
  • Handle multiple shipments efficiently.
  • Sending final shipment documents to customers and tracking cargo delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records for export shipments, including EGM and RODTEP benefit status.
  • Generate RODTEP scrips and apply for DGFT and ICEGATE applications.
  • Arrange relevant packing for shipments, especially for dangerous goods.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, including HS codes, tariffs, and taxes.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including import data and compliance documents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for alignment and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on changes in import/export regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Graduation degree.
  • 3+ years experience in chemical industry (preferably).
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
