Regional Ocean Operations Specialist

As an Ocean Freight Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and controlling all ocean operations in the region to ensure compliance, service quality, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage ocean freight operations (FCL, LCL, imports, exports) in the West region, driving P&L performance and developing relationships with carriers, NVOCCs, and vendors.
- Collaborate with sales and account management teams, monitoring regional performance through KPIs and leading and developing the regional ocean operations team.
A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is required, along with a minimum 10-12 years of relevant experience in the logistics industry.
Skills & Abilities:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team development capabilities.
- Act as focal point for logistics escalations and complaints, with knowledge of sustainability practices in shipping and logistics and familiarity with international trade regulations and customs processes.
