Financial Strategy Director Job DescriptionRole Summary:

As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's financial strategy and direction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Operations Oversight: Ensure timely finalization of accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Financial Management: Manage daily funds, arrange capex and working capital finance from banks to support business growth.
  • Tax Compliance: Maintain strong knowledge of direct tax law, TDS, and coordinate with consultants for tax assessment and appellate matters.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and other consultants, to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Software Configuration: Monitor and control accounting software configuration to guarantee accurate accounting, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • ROC Compliance: Coordinate ROC compliance with auditors in a timely manner.
  • Vendor Payments: Manage vendor payments and maintain banking relationships, including handling NEFT and RTGS transactions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with statutory authorities, including income tax, VAT, and TDS departments, to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • GST Compliance: Maintain GST compliance, including filing monthly GST returns.
  • TDS Compliance: Ensure TDS compliance and book entries in Microsoft Navision for all expenses and fixed assets.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.

Skills: Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting, and taxation. Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in a leadership role.
