Senior Accounting Manager Job

The ideal candidate will oversee the entire accounting and financial management operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead day-to-day accounting operations, guaranteeing precision and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  2. Prepare and review financial statements, Management Information Systems reports, and management dashboards for informed decision-making.
  3. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings efficiently.
  4. Conduct variance analysis, profitability analysis, and financial forecasting to drive business growth.
  1. Oversee budgeting, cost control, and expense management to optimize resource utilization.
  2. Implement cost optimization strategies for manufacturing and supply chain operations to enhance efficiency.
  3. Monitor working capital requirements and ensure prudent fund allocation.
  1. Ensure timely filing of statutory returns, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, PT, ROC filings, and other relevant documents.
  2. Handle all statutory compliances related to manufacturing and export-import transactions effectively.
  3. Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities to maintain seamless operations.
  1. Manage internal, statutory, and tax audits, ensuring prompt closure without discrepancies.
  2. Strengthen internal controls and implement financial risk management processes to mitigate potential risks.
  3. Support due diligence, funding, and compliance checks when required.
  1. Oversee vendor payments, client receivables, credit control, and reconciliations to maintain a healthy cash flow.
  2. Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments and maintain a positive cash flow.
  3. Handle domestic and international transactions, including forex and export documentation, efficiently.
  1. Lead and mentor the accounts team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in operations.
  2. Implement process improvements and adopt technology to drive automation and productivity gains.
  3. Act as a business partner to management, providing insightful financial information for strategic decisions.
Requirements:
  1. Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) / MBA Finance preferred.
  2. Minimum 7–12 years of accounting & finance experience, preferably in manufacturing/export industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI compliance.
  4. Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle) and MS Excel (Advanced functions).
  5. Familiarity with export-import documentation and international transactions.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  7. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
