
Strategic Business Growth Specialist

The primary function of a Business Development Specialist is to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) sector. This involves acquiring and managing customer relationships, generating revenue, and cross-selling products to SME clients for the business banking group.
Key Responsibilities:- Originate new business prospects through direct sourcing and open market channels.
- Acquire and manage working capital customers, including Channel Finance, Trade & Forex, CGTMSE limit, and Bank facilities.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance portfolio growth based on customer requirements.
- Perform balance sheet analysis, financial ratios, and security documentation to evaluate SME loan working capital.
- Maintain relationships with business banking teams to originate business with complex customers.
- Manage working capital clients under the Small Enterprise Group Segment (turnover from 10 crores to 250 Crores).
- Monitor and maintain hygiene of the customers' portfolio, managing sourcing phase to approval, execution of documents, loading of limits, servicing & credit monitoring stage.
- Cross-sell to existing customers (LI, GI & Loan secured).
- Experience in Working Capital Products SME market, specialising in asset business.
- Acquisition of New-to-Bank Business banking relationships with Knowledge Banking approach.
- Strong skills in balance sheet analysis, financial ratios, and security documentation on SME term Loan working capital.
- Good working experience in assert loan.
