Job Description

The role of Senior Manager involves overseeing tax compliances, including GST and transfer pricing, as well as banking and treasury matters. This position plays a key role in establishing, evaluating, and monitoring adequate tax controls, tax reporting processes, and banking products to optimize working capital and interest costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and Indirect Tax Compliances: Manage tax compliance, GST reporting, and filings with tax authorities, ensuring timely submissions of GST, withholding tax returns, and corporate tax returns.
  • Tax Assessment/Litigation: Liaise with tax authorities, complete income tax assessments, transfer pricing assessment, and VAT/CST assessment, ensuring timely submissions and replies to notices from tax authorities.
  • Tax Planning and Risk Management: Identify tax planning opportunities, resolve issues, and implement appropriate systems or processes for tax risk management, building a compliant and responsive organization from a long-term perspective.
  • Tax Advisory: Provide transaction advisory and structuring services for optimal tax solutions, act as the key point of contact and support for local and regional taxation matters, and stay abreast of banking regulations.
