Job Title: Leadership Development Specialist

Overview

The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in developing and delivering impactful training programs, focusing on leadership development within the life insurance sector.

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training solutions to enhance performance, achieve organizational goals, and foster continuous learning and development within teams.
  • Foster a culture of excellence by creating engaging learning content and measuring the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

This Leadership Trainer will be responsible for:

  • Conducting training modules for Agent Advisors and ADMs, including induction and on-boarding training programs, sales skills, life insurance products and processes, and digital tools and assets.
  • Demonstrating exceptional facilitation skills and virtual delivery skills for seamless training delivery across all sessions.
  • Driving adoption of the digital learning platform across all roles, driving digital assessments amongst Agents and ADMs, self-learning among Agents and ADMs, and calendaring and planning all training sessions with team members.
  • Maintaining accurate records of attendance, capturing attendance in TMS/ELM within stipulated time, coordinating travel for training sessions, and ensuring wider participation of agents in programs.
Administrative Tasks:

This role involves:

  • Soliciting regular feedback from agents, Sales Managers, Partners, and Managing Partners to monitor progress and maintain high standards of professionalism.
  • E nsuring agents adhere to moral and ethical standards when dealing with clients, monitoring agent development, and facilitating self-development.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of life insurance products, regulations, and market trends.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engage diverse audiences.
  • Presentation Skills: Skilled in creating and delivering effective training sessions and workshops.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Ability to guide and motivate employees to improve skills and performance.
  • Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of life insurance policies, claims processes, underwriting, and sales techniques.
  • Training Development: Experience in designing training materials, modules, and assessments tailored to audiences' needs.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust training methods and content to fit different learning styles and levels.
  • Sales Skills: Familiarity with sales techniques, as training often focuses on improving sales performance within the life insurance space.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address any performance issues or knowledge gaps effectively.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with e-learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and other training tools.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills to connect with trainees and collaborate with other departments.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Ability to assess trainee progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
Desired Qualification and Experience:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A degree in any discipline.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in sales and 3-4 years of experience in conducting sales training, with a background in the life insurance domain being a plus.
