Job OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to provide expert legal guidance and strategic direction to our senior stakeholders. This individual will play a critical role in optimizing debt management processes, ensuring they are ethical, compliant, and scalable.Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute effective legal strategies to advise senior stakeholders on debt management processes.
  • Oversee and resolve debt-related disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel when required.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research to support litigation strategies and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal business, compliance, and legal teams to create practical solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external legal partners and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in litigation processes, civil procedure, and relevant laws and regulations in India, preferably in debt management in banks, NBFCs, or asset reconstruction companies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and execute effective legal strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
