Industrialization Manager

This key role focuses on ensuring seamless industrialization processes. As an Industrialization Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the deployment of standard processes and product solutions across various manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tender Phase:
  • Define industrial assumptions (Process Intent Outline, Master Bill of Materials, Macro-process) aligned with the industrial reference library and SMP/SML of the product range.
  • Validate cost estimates related to industrial aspects of tenders.
    • Project Execution Phase:
    • Guarantee manufacturability and, where applicable, transferability using validated technologies.
    • Enforce co-engineering rules to optimize development lead time and quality.
    • Validate industrial gate reviews during Design for Quality process.
    • Confirm readiness for Serial Go based on industrial scope.
    • Ensure timely, complete, and high-quality documentation and ERP data.
    • Oversee the implementation of manufacturing equipment aligned with Environmental Health and Safety standards, ergonomics, and project QCD targets.
    • Support production with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Special Processes & Operations:
  • Organize and manage special processes and critical operations impacting product safety and reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering from a Tier 1 institution.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Minimum 15 years in industrial roles, preferably in the railway sector within an international organization.
  • Proven team leadership in engineering and technical environments.
  • Technical expertise in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Documentation, Line Balancing, and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration Tracking.
  • Knowledge of relevant quality and EHS standards and regulations.
