Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Intellectual Property Drafting Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting patent applications, delivering prosecution projects, and providing training and mentorship to colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft patent applications for inventions in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) field
  • Deliver prosecution projects including formulating response strategies for office actions and drafting responses
  • Draft provisional specifications and complete patent applications with well-crafted claim sets
  • Provide training and mentorship to colleagues on technical areas and draft/patent work
  • Apply process knowledge to produce high-quality results in assigned tasks
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify issues and improve team performance
  • Analyze and solve problems using available tools
  • Participate in hiring process and lead colleagues in specialized technical assignments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering/technology from a reputable institution
  • Excellent domain knowledge in ICT field
  • 4+ years of experience in patent drafting and/or prosecution with 2+ years of experience in patent drafting for US jurisdiction
  • Experience in drafting 50+ patent applications for US domain
