Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled MongoDB expert to lead our database projects. As a MongoDB leader, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining our MongoDB/Atlas Database projects.

  • Main Tasks:
  • Deploy and maintain MongoDB/Atlas Database projects to achieve maximum availability and performance
  • Maintain detailed documentation of database design/architecture and setups to support business continuity
  • Develop procedures for backup/recovery and disaster recovery to minimize downtime
  • Administer MongoDB to optimize its usage and ensure scalability
  • Design and implement sharding and indexing strategies for MongoDB to improve data retrieval speed
  • Configure and monitor replica sets to ensure data consistency and redundancy
  • Perform patch upgrades to keep the system up-to-date with the latest features and security patches
  • Design and build operational infrastructure to support our databases, automating where possible to increase efficiency
  • Establish database security protocols to protect sensitive information
  • Create users, assign roles, and manage permissions to ensure data access control
  • Stay updated on industry trends and standards to provide innovative solutions
  • Provide technical support to the community using incident/problem management tools
