Job Title: Database Systems Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Database Systems Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for administering and developing MS SQL Server environments.

About the Role:
As a Database Systems Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that involve database administration, development, and support. You will be working with MS SQL Server technologies such as Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Reporting Services (SSRS), and Power BI tools. Additionally, you will have experience migrating databases to cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and develop MS SQL Server environments.
  • Migrate databases to cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Configure backup strategies and recover databases in case of failure.
  • Implement Redgate DB monitoring tool and administer it.
  • Work multiple shifts and be willing to adapt to changing schedules.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience with MS SQL Server technologies.
  • 2-4 years of experience migrating databases to cloud platforms.
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Reporting Services (SSRS), and Power BI tools.
  • Experience with Redgate DB monitoring tool.
  • Able to work multiple shifts.
