Corporate Affairs Lead

The role involves strategic planning, crisis management, regulatory compliance, and community relations.

  • Lead regular interactions with government officials to ensure a favorable policy environment for operations.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to environmental clearances, labor law compliance, land use permissions, and industrial licensing requirements.
  • Develop and execute crisis communication protocols and serve as primary media spokesperson during sensitive situations.
  • Track policy developments affecting the steel/manufacturing sector and prepare position papers and advocacy strategies.
  • Lead land acquisition processes, liaison with revenue officials, and coordinate with legal teams on property-related matters.
  • Brief senior leadership on political developments and coordinate with various departments to align corporate affairs strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

The Corporate Affairs Lead will lead key interactions with government officials, stakeholders, and media to influence policy and advance business goals. This includes strategic planning, crisis management, regulatory compliance, and community relations.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in engaging with government and industry leaders to influence policy and advance business goals.
  • Proven ability to handle media during crises and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Deep knowledge of land procurement, labor standards, and the socio-political landscape of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Capability to develop and execute data-driven public affairs strategies.
  • Skills in leading a team and influencing stakeholders within a complex, matrix organization.
