Our client, a renowned manufacturer of top-quality central vacuum and ventilation systems, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive market expansion and revenue growth in their designated territory.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of sales success. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers, and staying up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy for central vacuum systems and ventilation products in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including architects, builders, contractors, and homeowners.
- Provide technical advice and solutions to customers, addressing their specific needs and demonstrating the value of our products.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers, showcasing the advantages of our products.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably an MBA from a reputable business school.
- Strong technical background and an aptitude for understanding complex technical products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers.
- Proven sales and negotiation skills, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 per year, plus benefits and bonuses based on performance.
