Job Opportunity: Senior Hardware Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hardware Designer to lead the development of complex hardware systems for industrial and automotive applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop advanced hardware systems that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware components with software and mechanical systems, ensuring seamless system performance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, layouts, and design reviews, to facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and design tools, including Altium, to ensure continued excellence in design and implementation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Master of Science degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent program.
  • A minimum of 6-9 years of experience in industrial or automotive hardware design, preferably with Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Expertise in embedded electronics design constraints, system/component design, EE architecture topologies, and safety, with a strong understanding of PCB design rules, layer stack-up design, and PCB-to-mechanical interfaces.
  • Familiarity with vehicle bus communication protocols, such as ETH/CAN FD/LIN/LVDS, and troubleshooting tools, as well as EMI/EMC design, test, and troubleshooting, and thermal management for ECU embedded electronics.
  • Proficiency in Altium tool, including schematic capture, PCB layout review, and high-complexity multilayer layout design.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with PI/SI.
  • Able to support/handle multiple expertise domains.
