Job Title: Audit Manager

The Role:

This role leads a team responsible for preparing reports, including statutory financial statements, direct and indirect taxes, and regulatory requirements. The goal is to ensure timely completion of financial statements and tax returns in adherence to our global policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage dispersed teams for audit and taxation.
  2. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members, fostering an environment conducive to achieving individual and collective goals.
  3. Ensure accurate and timely submission of all tax returns reporting/filing, declarations, and mandated reports, encompassing both direct and indirect taxes.
  4. Oversee the precise preparation of financial statements in alignment with Local GAAP.
  5. Calculate current, advance, and deferred tax in alignment with our accounting policies based on IFRS.
  6. Ensure compliance with Transfer Pricing regulations through the maintenance of local transfer pricing files.
  7. C coordinate external audit processes, ensuring both time and cost effectiveness.
  8. Manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and advisors, including tax advisors to optimize external expertise.
  9. Cultivate a Continuous Process Improvement (CI) mindset, challenging the status quo to identify efficient ways of working.
  10. Support the Global Tax Manager in tax planning and strategic projects.
  11. Establish and maintain work instructions to ensure transparency and consistency.
  12. Assess and mitigate operational risks, acting as an escalation point to drive issue resolution.

Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant

- Professional Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience

- Experience in a multi-national environment

- Leadership expertise with readiness to manage remote teams across different locations

- Analytical skills, decision-making skills, change management skills

- Proactive attitude

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
