Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Software Development Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive the delivery of new features that elevate the shopping experience in our Just Walk Out stores.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 6-10 software development engineers to build and enhance the shopping experience.
  • Deliver critical capabilities to enable bar-raising customer experiences.
  • Create high-bar engineering culture and embed operational knowledge into everything we do.
Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, data storage modeling, visualization, and front-end development. Additionally, they should possess experience in leading teams, developing people, and building scalable infrastructure.

A successful candidate will be a self-starter who approaches complex business questions with data and curiosity, and dives below the surface to identify root causes rather than superficial trends.
