System Administrator

plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical skills, outstanding communication abilities, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer support.
In this key position, you will be responsible for monitoring the system's vital parameters on a regular schedule. This includes CPU, Memory, Hard disk size, Log size, and other essential server metrics. Any performance issues that exceed predetermined thresholds must be promptly reported to the relevant teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the infrastructure's health, proactively addressing any potential problems before they escalate.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports to stakeholders regarding system performance and reliability.
  • Ensure scheduled tasks are executed successfully, with prompt reexecution in cases of failure.
  • Report technical errors to L2/L3 teams for resolution, facilitating seamless issue escalation.
  • Stay vigilant, monitoring email, Teams channels, and ticketing systems for new items/tickets, responding accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for effective issue resolution.
  • Verify fixes in the internal testing environment based on customer-provided input.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling seamless collaboration with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, coupled with a passion for delivering high-quality customer support.
  • Proficiency in Java, scripting languages, or related technologies would be a significant advantage.

Years of Experience:
