Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our team. As a senior systems administrator, you will be responsible for the overall administration of our Linux systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • LVM concept - FS creation, extension, and troubleshooting.
  • Multipath concept – Validating multipath, adding Luns and enabling multipath.
  • Ensuring performance specifications are met.
  • Evaluating and correcting OS vulnerabilities by patching the servers (patching).
  • Coordinating with different vendors in case of any hardware and OS level issues.
  • Log rotation and managing FS usage, Changing permission/ownership etc.
  • Implementing changes as per application team and DB team requirements at OS level.
  • FOLLOWING DO'S AND DON'T AS PER SLA. WIROPO AND CUSTOMER PROCESS ADHERENCE WHILE HANDLING BAU.
  • Service management (NTP, SSH, AUTOFS etc)
  • Fixing server access and bootable issues (including fixing grub).
  • OS level trouble shooting in bringing up the server.
  • OS migration is an added advantage.
