Job Title: Policies and Process Lead

Location: Mumbai

Business Function: Consumer Bank Liabilities

Reports to: Head of Retail Liabilities and Payment Products

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled process and policy professional to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and develop effective policies for our liabilities and payment products.

About the Role:

We require an experienced professional with excellent knowledge of RBI processes and policies, audit parameters, AML guidelines, and fraud management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring implementation and adherence of all compliance-related items, strengthening systems and controls, and liaising with different departments to ensure strict adherence to RBI circulars.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Management: Ensure implementation and adherence of all compliance-related items, including external and internal audits.
  • Policy Development: Develop and review process guidelines for product teams, and act as a mediator for answering questions related to policies and processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify duplicate, redundant, and unproductive tasks in processes, and aim to reduce costs and improve productivity of front-line staff.
  • Risk Management: Ensure processes and policies are aligned to internal and external guidelines, and identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

Education: Preferably MBA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 college.

Experience: Prior experience in setting up policies and processes for liabilities products will be an added advantage.
